The original Art Nouveau building remained a modernized hall and was surrounded by modern facilities. Nice theater with interesting pieces, where it is worth to go (I have it 70km). Now it was the Messenger of Liptakov, performed by Mr. Svěrák, Brukner et al.

The building of the Žďár Theater was created by a major reconstruction of the National House in the 1970s. The building of the National House in the years 1900 - 1901 according to the design of the Žďár builder Josef Křelina was of great importance for local cultural life. The house was built at the expense of the city (with the great contribution of the then mayor) and became the largest social hall in the area. Not only theater was played here, but there were federal and political meetings, concerts and dance parties. In the 60s and 70s of the 20th century, the building was even threatened with demolition, and in the end an extensive reconstruction was undertaken. It was designed by architects from the Architectural Art Studio in Jihlava, the interior was designed by Lubor Lacina. The building permit was granted in 1976 and the occupancy permit took place in 1981. The building of the Zdar Theater on Dolezalovo Square was created by the major reconstruction of the National House in the 1970s.
