K videni je mimo jine i velky betlem vsazeny do novomestskeho namesti s radou postavicek mesta, z dob minulych a ze soucasnosti. Kazdym rokem se rada postavicek rozrusta. K videni jsou tez betlemy kraju vzdalenych i ze zamori. The town museum hides a number of nativity scenes from the collection and the creation of Hald's spouses from Sedlon. Nenabízí pohled na hromady archivních materiálů, které jsou zajímavé většinou jen pro zasvěcené, ale tématicky zaměřené expozice, které rád shlédne každý. Například světnička řemesel, jak vypadala domácnost před 100 lety, ukázka lékárny z Kláštera Milosrdných bratří, ale i nedávnou historii města - hodinky PRIM, které se zde doposud vyrábí. Mimo to jsou zde pravidelné výstavy. Prohlídku doporučuji. Very nice city museum, completely free from the former museums. Paní v pokladně velmi ochotná, zodpověděla nám i veškeré naše dotazy. Dozvěděli jsme se moc zajímavých informací. Chránila vstup do města ve kterém jsou i další pozůstatky starého opevnění. Nové Město nad Metují stojí za návštěvu a není v tomto kraji jediné. V přízemí expozice betlémů, staré lékárny a vstup na malinkou bylinkovou zahrádku, v patře výstava k hodinkám Prim a k dějinám města a loutkářství s výstupem na balkon s nádherným výhledem na město i okolí. Pochvalu zaslouží i pozorný a neobyčejně ochotný personál. Very nice museum.
