Nejstarší brněnský hudební klub v krásných prostorách jedné z nejzachovalejších funkcionalistických staveb v centru jihomoravské metropole. Více než 250 koncertů, parties, stand up comedy show atd. ročně! V sezóně 2016/2017 slaví 80. výročí otevření klubu pod názvem Metro. Ten zde funguje v různých podobách od roku 1937, kdy byl zprovozněn jako jazzový METRO MUSIC HALL.

Apart from some electonic dj nights expect more of rock, and traditional genres, from time to time they host stand up show. Entry fee is usually around 50 - 100 CZK, if you're visiting on regular night. Concerts are more expensive and recommended to buy tickets prior to the event. Club is popular with people of all ages. It is not very big and gets crowded quite easily. Unfortunately, WC is not in the best shape and if you don't need to use it, don't. When main event is over, lots of people are going outside for smoke, so closet, stairs and entrance surroundings get very crowded.

The security guard will be asking for your ID to leave it in the safe, cz they don’t trust you. They will also point at your nationality in your passport to tell you that they can not let you in as long as you don’t give them your ID to store in the safe. Which I find very inconvenient and inappropriate. Non should be discriminated based on their nationality or race, etc...

The entry fees is like 50-70 kc which is very affordable. Its very memorable moment for me because I met too many new friends and had a lots of conversations about different cultures. Its worth to visit this place once if you are in brno.
O	Ondrej Žižka on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It has a tradition, but with the always-the-same disco (almost seems to be stuck with few CDs played every time), tragic hygienic conditions (tiny restrooms which run out of paper at 10 PM, metal toilet bowl without lid, no cleanup during the evening), broken glass all around the place, quite slow bar, weak drinks choice... On the positive side: It is quite safe - the security stops fights quite quickly. Also they are quite polite at the entrance. It has big enough cloak room with a service. It is non-smoking (not just officially, but for real).
