Trails to nearby attractions (Pravcicka Brana, Mala Pravcicka Brana) start here.

Really fresh and friendly staff, the included breakfest will not leave you hungry.

Disastrous price to quality ratio. No flat place for tents, no kitchen, dirty showers with no electricity to e.g. hair-dryers.

It was quiet, green, and not crowded. A flat piece of land is hard to find for a tent and benches/fire pits are scarce. Some missing amenities as expected, but the worst part was the cleaning. While the toilets are fairly new, they are full of dead or living insects. The 3 cleaning ladies were too busy watering the concrete floor, splashing water on the people in the stalls at 8am and giggling about it, than being concerned about real cleaning.

This campsite has a great location as a starting point for hikes to some of the most famous attractions of the area. Also, it's conveniently located by the main road which is served by local buses connecting all the main tourist spots which is particularly useful for those who come without a car and/or with kids who sometimes need to cut the hikes shorter. The camp is small, green, not very crowded and pleasantly quiet, and there's a nice playground next to it, right by the bus stop. Unfortunately, it doesn't really stand up to its potential. It's a pity, the chalets which form the heart of the camp (which lies on a slope and therefore is not that great for putting up tents) are not maintained, have fallen into decay and have been closed for several years according to the staff of the neighboring hotel where you have to pay for using the camp. The staff of the hotel informed us, the camp is a property of the National Park which doesn't invest much in its maintenance. Only the terraces of the decaying chalets are now used for sitting around, cooking and hanging up wet laundry or towels on the railings by those who put up their tents among and around them. The greatest flaw of the camp however, are its bathrooms, which are newly restored, but are not cleaned well. There was at times a terrible smell in the showers, and there was regularly no hot or even warm water in the evenings. Considering there are no other facilities such as a kitchen, a small shop or a stall with refreshments in the camp, the price you pay is rather high for what you get.

Excellent location to explore hiking trails in the area. Campsite itself is quite uneven but offers still enough space for bigger tents. There are old abondend huts which can function as a shelter in heavy rain. Sanitary facilities are... improving as the Hotel in charge new. Small constructions are ongoing. There are some insects in there. The reception desk is on the other hand very kind and supporting. They have a garage to lock up your bike while hiking or overnight. Restaurants (2-3) are nearby and the tourist information offers small snacks.
