You just need to go there ahead of time because there are a lot of people on the line before it opens. On my case since we came early, we have to wait a bit longer but when I came inside it didn't take so much time. It's quick and the lady is nice. The process is very smooth.
C	Chetan Yeddula on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wish there was a help desk or at least a designated English speaking officer to assist you when you walk in. It can be very confusing. To help the people going for the first time- ground floor is where you generate a token number from the machine and also where EU nationals are attended to, first floor is where long term resident permit/visa applicants or newly arrived foreigners have to wait. You can also purchase revenue stamps here which are like a mode of payment for the various visa applications. Second floor has the waiting area for permanent residence permit applicants and also those EU nationals who have an appointment. Collection and issuance of biometric cards also takes place here. Note that newly arrived foreigners have to first register themselves in the first floor, and when they do that they are given an appointment to submit biometrics. I have been to the Ministry of Interior thrice. My first experience was terrible but the next two times I got kind and polite English speaking officers and it was nice. Note that the waiting times can take up to 4-5 hours so bring some snacks ;). That’s why some people go early in the morning (~6am) and start queuing up. There are toilets in the complex.
M	Mladen Protic on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very unorganized, with terible treatment to people. Especialy now during COVID. You can not reach the place by phone. Everything there is made for you not to feel good. For 10 years in CZ, and visiting 3 offices of police for foreigners, they simply don't want to change and improve things. If there is option not give any star, that would be the best review.

It is my first experience of MOI in Brno and I must say it was probably the best of any "Urad" experience I've had in Czech Republic. If anyone knows where I could write a personal review for the lady that helped me, it would be great.

Impossible to get an appointment in advance if its for the first visit and therefore you have to come very very early or otherwise it will be full of people and you won't be attended. It opens at 8 and at 7am there is already a huge queue.... I arrive at 7 am and I get number 20 and after 3 hours they are still in number 17. The only good thing are the people at the service desks, who are kind.

Absolutely terrible experience, capacity is not even close to what it should be. Of course you can book by telephone but there are no vacancies for like 2 months. This is just sad for 21st century
