★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had our wedding here in July 2018 and everything was perfectly arranged! The staff of Solan were able to take care of the guests for three days in an excellent way. We are visiting again this summer to celebrate our first anniversary! ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful setting with stunning vistas. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Wellness area was very relaxing add well equipped. Great walking routes in the area. Ideal for an active family or couple. Would certainly go again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel is renovated, clean, but the service/facilities are poor. Water temperature in the shower is changing rapidly, we were almost unable to take a shower, breakfast was poor, the wifi is not working properly in the whole hotel and sauna/wellness is for additional cost

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful hotel, refurbished in traditional style. Interiors are full of wood. It seems over-decorated on a first sight but it feels so relaxing because of all the wooden furniture, flooring etc. And the location! That breathtaking views! Just come, see and breath that fresh mountain air, both summer or winter. The hotel has its own spa area, very beautifully organised, very friendly staff, you can choose from many pampering procedures. Don't know any better place. Rooms are more then superb, beds are comfortable, great bathroom in traditional style. Bath robes and slippers provided. Breakfast provides huge selection. Restaurant is great as well. You can experience world class menu on selected events advertised on hotel web. The hotel is great for holiday any time of the year. Provides excellent services for conferences as well.

The rooms are nice spacious and clean, the staff are friendly and efficient. The spa is excellent and the massages were just what was needed.
The food from the restaurant was top notch and there is a great selection of wine from a well stocked cellar.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spent 3 days here and stayed in Villa Maria. A self contained wooden lodge about 3 minutes walk from the main hotel.
The location, lodge and hotel are exceptional.. staff are amazing and accomodating.
The restaurant we had one or two issues during our stay, however it was a fantastic experience, good food and drink.
The seperate cafe unfortunately has an unusual opening time during a weekend and found ourselves having to wait around for it to open for a morning coffee after breakfast and morning walk..
The lodge itself was beautiful, balconies, wood fire, huge amount of space and very comfortable (sleeps 8) we managed to fit 8 adults and two children in with no issues.
Would definitely recommend a visit here, during winter months the place looks beautiful with plenty of snow.
