★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Když se vysloví Telč, okamžitě se mi vybaví pohádkové náměstí… měšťanské domy se zachovalou fasádou, nádhernými štíty a dlouhými podloubími, také třeba Prázdniny v Telči - jeden z nejstarších hudebních festivalů v Česku. Nejvíce mám však město spojené se slavnou větou „Zavaž mi střevíček“. Pyšná princezna ji vyslovila právě v Telči v roce 1952. Pěkné město. Ráda se sem vracím.
When I say Telč, I immediately think of a fairy-tale square… townhouses with a well-preserved facade, beautiful gables and long arcades, such as Holidays in Telč - one of the oldest music festivals in the Czech Republic. Most of all, however, I have a city associated with the famous sentence “Tie my shoe”. The proud princess pronounced it in Telč in 1952. Nice city. I like to come back here.

A beautiful square that can not be confused with another town and is so typical of Telč. We also visited the castle, all super.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Krásné město, jak už je tu x-krát zmíněno. Rozhodně doporučuji návštěvu, interaktivní prohlídku, Telčského podzemí. Například projekce rozhovoru s pamětníky na mlhu je dost netradiční. Rezervujte si čas prohlídky osobně informačním centru. Parádní výhled z kostelní věže, byť výstup je trochu složitější.
Beautiful city, as mentioned here x times. I definitely recommend a visit, interactive tour, Telč underground. For example, the projection of an interview with witnesses in the fog is quite unusual. Book your tour time in person at the information center. Great view from the church tower, although the climb is a bit more difficult.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Město plné romantických zákoutí, kde na vás z každého kroku dýchá historie. Právem patří mezi památky chráněné UNESCO. V pátek či sobotu večer doporučuji v místních restauracích rezervaci předem. Za návštěvu určitě stojí zámek, park či rozhledna, ke které dojdete kolem zajímavé technické památky parního mlýnu (původně poháněného Francisovou turbínou) a v neposlední řadě i podzemí, kde se můžete v podřepu projít asi 150 metry chodeb pod náměstím. Podzemí je doplněno i interaktivní prezentací starých fotek či projekci na kouř.
A city full of romantic nooks and crannies, where history breathes on you every step of the way. It is rightly one of the monuments protected by UNESCO. On Fridays or Saturdays evening I recommend booking in local restaurants in advance. Worth a visit is definitely a castle, park or lookout tower, which you can walk around an interesting technical monument steam mill (originally driven by Francis turbine) and last but not least, underground, where you can squat about 150 meters of corridors below the square. The underground is complemented by an interactive presentation of old photos or a projection on smoke.
