★ ★ ★ ★ ★ By the time I've been there they had a 90's expo, everything you knew and experienced(except some 100% Czech phenomenas). It's like a door in the past, must visit while it's still there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not only the interesting contemporary exhibitions which are remarkable, the precious exhibitions upstairs and the building itself are worth visiting so far.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I get that you want to be hip. Showing otherwise inaccessible stock is a good idea. But the black and white zones are just frustrating. Way to devaluate objects into mere gimmicks. If you desire any information on the objects it is impossible to get (walking up to the only stationary tablet in the other corner of the room is tedious and not an option). Maybe try free WiFi and QR codes, if forceful hipness is the aim?
The "timeline" exhibition room is a wee bit better.
That being said, great objects of furniture, ceramics and glass design. So the potential is there, just waiting for a curator that grew out of his teenage protest art years.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely wonderful museum! The staff is truly lovely while the shows are just bangers!!!! I cannot really recall such brave and chick museum which isn't in an Eastern European capital - but still in that region. All the shows are carefully put together, bravely making decisions.
The only HUGE DISADVANTAGE is that there is no English flyer/guide or description of the exhibitions (sometimes also objects are lacing translations - but mainly it does have English titles). Sadly also Pelcl's book is also only in Czech. If a museum does that well and is this great.... You also better share that with the English speaking audience! (Hopefully:next time, Better luck)
But the overall experience is too great to give only 4starts or so... ?????

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Although it wasnt our first time, they were staring at us and shout on us.
They cannot speak english and one lady told us that the upper floor is not free imploitly.
It was first time for one of my friends ans he just shocked due to this unacceptable treat.
Maybe for the next time you should choose another place.
But it had a beautiful artitucture and we really loved that.
It has elevaltor and you can use that.
Do not forget to do not pass the black line.
