★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Předchůdcem bělského zámku byla tvrz z počátku 14. století. Během husitských válek byla tvrz pobořena a na jejích základech vznikl ve 2. polovině 16. století renesanční zámek. Jeho výstavba pokračovala i počátkem 17. století a jejím výsledkem bylo ojedinělé architektonicky hodnotné panské sídlo s patrovými arkádami zdobenými freskami. Dnešní podobu zámek získal přestavbou uskutečněnou v letech 1689 až 1691.
Trvalým sídlem vrchnosti se ovšem bělský zámek nestal - sídlili zde vrchnostenští úředníci a na konci 18. století zde byla dokonce zřízena textilní manufaktura. Roku 1855 se v zámku usídlila lesnická škola, která zde vydržela až do počátku 20. století, kdy byly prostory zámku upraveny na byty. Od roku 1939 v zámku sídlí muzeum a celý zámecký areál prochází postupnou rekonstrukcí.
The forerunner of the castle in Běla was a fortress from the early 14th century. During the Hussite Wars, the fortress was demolished and a Renaissance chateau was built on its foundations in the second half of the 16th century. Its construction continued in the early 17th century and resulted in a unique architecturally valuable mansion with two-storey arcades decorated with frescoes. The present appearance of the chateau was rebuilt from 1689 to 1691.
However, the permanent residence of the nobility did not become the chateau of Běla - there were residents of the nobility and at the end of the 18th century there was even established a textile manufactory. In 1855 a forestry school settled in the chateau, which remained there until the beginning of the 20th century, when the chateau premises were converted into apartments. Since 1939, the chateau has been home to a museum and the entire chateau complex is being gradually renovated.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Velice příjemný mladík v ic na zámku, ale jinak nás to moc nezaujalo. Takové letní mrtvo... Možná je to jen subjektivní dojem, ale město, které má během sezóny v pátek zavřené hlavní IC asi moc turisty nepotřebuje.
Very nice young man in the castle, but otherwise we were not very interested. Such a summer dead ... Maybe it's just a subjective impression, but the city, which has its main IC closed during the season on Friday, probably doesn't need many tourists.
