Pěkné výstavy, vždy správně upravemé k historii regionu a umění kolem výroby keramiky.
Nice exhibitions, always properly adapted to the history of the region and art around the production of ceramics.

The town museum can be found in an originally residential building attached to the old castle. It is a small area, but that´s why it is even more sympathetic, with the permanent exhibition of Týnec stoneware, which reached a considerable degree of fame in the 19th century. This was first made in the castle grounds and later the founder of the manufactory, Frantisek Josef of Vrtba, made a new building, which today serves as a social center and is another of the dominant of the city. But also exhibitions of paintings and sculptures are held in the castle gallery. There are also spaces of Romanesque cellars with archaeological exposition and interesting historical documents.

Romantic small castle with lots of exhibitions and a beautiful holiday program for children. View from the Gothic Tower to the Sázava River and the surrounding forests.

The building added to the castle serves as a museum of Tynec stoneware, which belonged to the best of its kind in its quality and production.
