In Čelákovice, there was a strong tradition of the Church of the Parish, which had its own church and parish until 1621. It is one of the first towns where the Czechoslovak Hussite Church was founded. The village of the church was established spontaneously at the people's camp, which was convened on May 7, 1920 by the brother of the parish priest V. Kára from Přerov nad Labem. On the same day, 76 people joined the church. During the month, it gained 1,200 members. The foundation stone was laid in September 1935 and in June 1936 Hus's choir was completed. Since then, the church has been gathering in Hus's congregation, and all spiritual and cultural activities have taken place here. There is a strong tradition of the Utraquist Church in this area - the church and a parish house were active here until 1621. Čelákovice belongs to the first cities where the Hussite Czechoslovak Church was founded.
