★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Large building, not too attractive as it is communist architecture. The art inside is very valuable, we enjoyed Klimt, Picasso, Kokoscha plus a temporary Pikarov exhibition.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I thorough enjoyed my time here. The collections are vibrant and eclectic and the layout made for an interesting experience. I particularly enjoyed how quiet it was, relatively speaking, and the opportunity to view work by Van Gogh and Picasso without the crowds. And I discovered lots of new artists too. Toyen’s work is well worth a visit. If you enjoy art galleries then you won’t be disappointed. Plus- it’s good value for money. I always buy prints/postcards and the price point was great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The original Van Gogh painting is located here on the 3rd floor. The admission is free for people under 26 which is great. We have been to 3rd and 4th floors and really liked some of the works there. There were many paintings by local painters that were as beautiful as the well-known ones. Also you can find original paintings of Monet, Klimt, picasso, Caspar David Friedrich, Ilja Repin and others here. Definitely recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love this Gallery ! There were more artworks here than I thought. In particular, painting is divided by style, and the amount is vast. If you like painting, I recommend you to take plenty of time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The building is pretty empty, only approximately half of its space is filled with gallery exhibition. There are nice paintings by famous artists and also in my opinion best exhibition of the gallery which is Post-Digital Intimacy. There is a great gift shop with pretty good deals in on-sale department which is on the 2nd floor of the shop.
