Beautiful alley, I definitely recommend stopping towards the caves :) beautiful mainly in autumn.

Beautiful and picturesque place.

Novohradská alley is located at the end of the tiny village of Nové Dvory (do not be fooled by the address on the maps - Vavřinec is completely elsewhere), it is approximately 500m long and almost perfectly straight. On both sides it is lined with trees that were planted regularly against each other. Therefore, even if it is a work of man, it looks interesting, all the more because the alley itself is essentially blind, at least for the means of transport. At the end there is a slight rocky climb to the bench with seating and the ruins of Blansek Castle. Unfortunately, it is not quite happily marked and moreover, it is too much left, so many tourists simply miss it - it is necessary to ignore the tourist sign, and go a few dozen meters to explore around the bench and with a bit of luck a few pieces of stone walls. The more adventurous hikers and cyclo-crossers, preferably with a full-suspension frame, can then take a winding, steep way down and come out in the lower part of the Desolate Channel, just above the cable car to Macocha and the Punkva Caves. For tourists is by far the most effective shortcut, how to get from the upper area of ​​Nové Dvory to the heart of the Moravian Karst and as a bonus to avoid annoying asphalt roads and crowds of tourists.

Beautiful walk ended with a visit to the ruins of Blansek Castle not far from Vavřinec and the Moravian Karst. It is about a 15 minute walk through the alley, forest and then a little climb the ruins. It's really beautiful here.
