★ ★ ★ ★ ★ These are the most gorgeous caves I've seen.
It's really easy to reach them by public transport and the tour takes about 60'. 45' walking and the final 15' is on a boat. The tour is not hard, but inside is really cold.
The rock formations inside are breathtaking and I'm so glad I went.
Cons: tours are only in Czech ? and it's mandatory to go with a guide.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The first time I went to the caves and I really liked it. You should dress warmer, because in the caves not that warm. We drove out of season, in October, it's a small number of people in this time. we were on the last tour at 14h.English tour was not available, and we did not understand anything what was said, but we seen beautiful rocks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice cave but very old-fashioned visit: guide asking to throw a coin in the cave for luck! Guide explaining that bats are hibernating and putting loud classical music. Nothing about geology but only calling the rocks by imaginary names. Really disappointing

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful place! Definitely worth a visit. The boat ride was incredible! Need to get tickets beforehand as they sell out. Bring warm clothes! Tours are in czech only but you can get an english info leaflet.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you love caves and fun Disney-like (Pirates of the Caribbean style) tours and water rides, I highly recommend these caves! There are a lot of them close to one another offering tours. Punkva is the one with a boat ride which is awesome! It's cold down there so bring layers and the boats can get little damp so something to put on your seat. ;) The views are awesome and the hike to the parking lot is super easy through gorgeous natural landscapes!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Magnificent cave system and 1h tour featuring a boat ride on an underground river. You can only visit if you take a tour in Czech. They are consistently sold out - book online weeks or even months ahead.
