Čekal jsem cestu kolem samotné kotliny se spoustou výhledů a nakonec jsem vlastně šlapal více méně krásným hustým lesem zlatě podbarveným podzimem. I tak však krása a když jsem nakonec došel na vyhlídku, nelitoval jsem. Ještě když se nad kotlinou proháněli nejrůznější černí krákorající ptáci, přítomnost bohů byla opravdu cítit. Určitě doporučuji. A lidi, čtěte ty panely podél těch stezek, opravdu se hodně zajímavých věcí dozvíte. Well, I have to say that the nature trail was a bit disappointing. I was waiting for a trip around the basin itself with lots of views, and in the end I actually walked through a more or less beautiful dense forest golden in autumn. Even so, beauty, and when I finally came to the prospect, I did not regret it. Even as all sorts of black croaking birds roamed the basin, the presence of the gods was really felt. I definitely recommend. And people, read those panels along those trails, you will really learn a lot of interesting things.

Úbočím Velké kotliny vede naučná stezka, která je bezesporu nejpoutavější stezkou turistů v CHKO Jeseníky. Začíná v Karlově a vede podél toku řeky Moravice přes přírodní rezervaci Velká kotlina nad Temnou, kde končí popis trasy sedmou tabulí. Stezka je totožná s turisticky značenou cestou. The Great Basin is not only one of the most species-rich localities in the Czech Republic, but also in Central Europe. An educational trail leads along the slopes of the Great Basin, which is undoubtedly the most attractive tourist trail in the Jeseníky Protected Landscape Area. It starts in Karlov and leads along the Moravice River through the Velká kotlina nad Temnou nature reserve, where the description of the route ends with the seventh sign. The trail is identical to the tourist marked path.
J	Jana Novakova on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Parádní výšlap! Auto jsme nechali na velkém parkovišti v Karlově a šli NS Velká kotlina (modrá) až na Ovčárnu. Výstup je trošku prudší, asi ne z kočárkem, ale jinak se to dá. Cestou je několik přístřešků k odpočinku. Celkem jsme se flákali a stále něco fotili a i tak jsme do dali za 3,5 hodiny. Doporučuji na jídlo přímo restauraci Ovčárna, dali jsme si super kančí gulášek a mají i své pivo. Parádní výšlap! We left the car in a large car park in Karlov and went to the Velká kotlina (Blue) National Park to Ovčárna. The exit is a bit steeper, probably not with a stroller, but otherwise it can be. On the way there are several shelters to rest. In total, we were slacking and still taking pictures and we still gave it in 3.5 hours. I recommend the Ovčárna restaurant for food, have a great boar goulash and have their beer.
M	M. S. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bardzo ładny szlak. Niebieski wg mnie dużo ciekawszy niż żółty właśnie dlatego że jest widok na kocioł. A very nice trail. Blue in my opinion is much more interesting than yellow just because there is a view of the boiler.
