We can evaluate our visit to the municipal office more than positive. We were in charge of the matrix, we had a very pleasant lady and helped us all. Kyselka is a magical place, probably thanks to such people.

The first mention of "Buková kyselka" village can be found in the second edition of Dr. W. Payer´s book from 1522. Around 1790 the village was well known and its water was irregularly bottled and distributed in stoneware bottles. A wonderful advertisement for a small spa was the visit of King Otto of Greece in 1852, who was invited by Mattoni himself. In his honor the main spring was named Otto's Spring. The village consists of parts Nová Kyselka, Kyselka and Radošov and around 800 inhabitants live here today.

Very nice place to stop by. Good for a bit of mountain walking in the woods, but not demanding. Very good fresh air. Can drink water from a rocky fountain or a fountain/tap by the small pond....people actually take it home in bottles for health reasons. Kyselka has also got a nice large park with reconstructed old spa buildings. ?
