This village is a heartfelt affair for me, where I spent my childhood. :) Ponds, playground, pub, peace and quiet :-)

The village of Studeněves is located in the valley of Červený potok in the Prague Plateau, about 3 kilometers west of Slaný. The name Studeněves is derived from the personal masculine name Studen - Studenova ves, ie Studeněves (similar to the villages Miličeves or Nelahozeves). According to the Old Bohemian personal name, one can deduce the old origin of the settlement. Studeněves may therefore have its origins in the 12th or 13th century. There used to be a fortress in the village in the 14th century, it later lost its significance and in the 18th century it turned into a granary in the courtyard. In 1623, the village was annexed to the Smečno Martin estate. In the 19th century, there was a large sugar factory in the village, which disappeared in the economic crisis around 1929. Studeněves village is situated in the valley of Červený potok in the Prague Plateau, about 3 kilometers west of Slaný.
