★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Superb!!! Presentation of food, taste, variety and service were amazing. Vegetarian soup with garlic croutons - oh man that was good. We actually ordered croutons to go because thats how good they were (perfect snack with beer) Chebureki - amazing; dough was crispy and light. We also got two knight plates - five stars. Highly recommended!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Their motto is dine like your ancestors in the middle ages and they surely put a serious effort into this including hanging old innerwears over the fireplace.
Food-wise it is really good. The portions are generous and their own beer is really good. I wi Definitely go back for their grilled potatoes. The menu has good variety with pork, chicken and beef. Location is also very convenient just at the footstep of Loket's major attraction Loket castle.

Cons: 50/50 is only light beer, only 3 persons work there, so waiting time can be 20-30 mins, kitchen can be also 20-30 mins behind schedule.
But all in all very nice place to visit!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We only wanted to stop for a cup of tea but the menu and plates on other tables just looked too good! We had a chicken and a trout and both were cooked over a real fire, were juicy, fresh, very well cooked, not too long, so they weren't dry or anything. Server with potatoes also cooked on fire, fresh vegetables, very nice mustard or cream sauce and wonderful bread made in house using traditional medieval recipe. Everything absolutely delicious!
The chicken was 269 and trout was 299 CZK which is a very good price for that kind of quality.
There's even a small screen placed in one of the windows, where you can see how the cooking looks like - worth a look as it doesn't involve the usual pan;)
The service was also very nice, shame I only had a credit card - you can pay by card but you can't tip the waitress that way.
Last bonus is the neighbors cat that seems to be a local Garfield?
