★ ★ ★ ★ ★ if you travel through the area be sure to visit this wonderful castle. as soon as you enter the gate you will feel that medieval atmosphere, like being a part of some movie sence, the inner courtyard, balcons, dungeons, tower and a dragon all really feels like travel in time. Loket castle is the oldest stone castle in the Czech Republic, its history is impressive, I strongly advise you to walk along the bridge before leaving or entering the city the city, the view of the castle from the bridge is truly fabulous

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So far the most beautiful castle I've seen, not only does it look incredible from far away sitting on the mountain rock, but also on the inside it still has the medieval sense to it, add to that the amazing views around it (forests).
Also you're free to roam inside as you wish, so few restrictions, plus a surprise in the dungeons!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely Czech castle. Unfortunately I couldn't bare torture room, but my husband and kids enjoyed it as well as the running around the castle. Family 2 adults + 2 kids ticket 18 euro. If you want a guides audio, then 23 euro.
