★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Die Brücke, die in die Stadt Loket führt ist eine massive steinerne Brücke. Die Stadt selbst ist ein traditionelles Ausflugsziel der Kurgäste von Karlsbad. Als prominenter Gast weilte hier Johann Wolfgang von Goethe , der ebenfalls von Karlsbad kam, mehrmals in Elbogen weilte und bemerkte: „Es liegt über alle Beschreibung schön und lässt sich als ein Kunstwerk von allen Seiten betrachten.“ Er ging also ganz sicher über diese Brücke um seinen 74. Geburtstag im heutigen Weissem Ross zu feiern. Ein sehr schönes Fotomotiv mit Burg und Brücke wird möglich, wenn du bis zum Parkplatz links von der Brücke (aus Loket kommend) vorfährst, ein Stückchen zurückgehst. Dann hast du die Stadt mit der Festung und die Brücke darauf.
The bridge that leads to the town of Loket is a massive stone bridge. The city itself is a traditional destination for spa guests in Karlovy Vary. Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, who also came from Karlsbad, stayed here several times as a prominent guest in Elbogen and remarked: “It is beautiful beyond description and can be viewed from all sides as a work of art.” So he walked quite safely over this bridge to celebrate his 74th birthday in today's Weissem Ross. A very nice photo motif with castle and bridge becomes possible if you drive up to the parking lot to the left of the bridge (coming from Loket) and walk back a little. Then you have the city with the fortress and the bridge on it.
