Jest to budowla czteroskrzydłowa, z wewnętrznym dziedzińcem. Część fasady południowej zajmuje wykusz gotyckiej kaplicy św. Hieronima z maswerkami i motywami figuralnymi. Po wschodniej stronie gmachu wkomponowano renesansową loggię z klatką schodową. Obok wieży ratuszowej, we wnęce w fasadzie północnej, znajduje się zegar astronomiczny. Większość pomieszczeń zachowała swój pierwotny wygląd, w tym sala reprezentacyjna, służąca obecnie jako Sala Ślubów. Wnętrze gotyckiej kaplicy św. Hieronima zwieńczone zostało niezwykłym sklepieniem cyrklowym. Ratusz ozdabia korona w postaci 75-metrowej wieży, na którą można wchodzić kilka razy dziennie, by podziwiać miasto i jego artystyczne skarby. Jesteście w okolicy, to warto zobaczyć. Polecam! Super !, the town hall building, which dominates the Upper Square, is a symbol of both the economic and political importance of the city at a time when it was the capital of Moravia. It is a four-wing structure with an internal courtyard. Part of the southern facade is occupied by the bay window of the Gothic chapel of St. Hieronymus with tracery and figural motifs. On the eastern side of the building there is a Renaissance loggia with a staircase. Next to the town hall tower, in a niche in the northern façade, there is an astronomical clock. Most of the rooms have retained their original appearance, including the representative hall, which now serves as the Wedding Hall. The interior of the Gothic chapel of St. Hieronymus was topped with an unusual compass vault. The town hall is decorated with a crown in the form of a 75-meter tower, which you can climb several times a day to admire the city and its artistic treasures. V	VladS on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nádherný kus historie na Horním náměstí v Olomouci. Radnice, stavěná od roku 1378 byla z větší části dřevěná a lehla popelem někdy kolem roku 1417. Teprve po tomto datu začalo město stavět kamennou radnici, jejíž gotické jádro se i přes četné přestavby dochovalo do dnešní doby. Má goticko-renesanční věž vysokou 75 m, gotické chodby, velký sál, kapli sv. Jeronýma, gotický arkýř kaple na jižní straně a kašnu Hygie na západní straně. Renesanční úpravy jsou z 16. a 17. století: lodžie a portál, arkádový ochoz na zvýšené věži. Na radnici se též nachází olomoucký orloj z roku 1420, současná podoba orloje je od Karla Svolinského. Renaissance alterations are from the 16th and 17th centuries: loggia and portal, arcade gallery on a raised tower. The town hall also houses the Olomouc Astronomical Clock from 1420, the current form of the astronomical clock is from Karel Svolinský. And also a sundial.
