M	Mist Over on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A magical place where old and new meet. You can definitely feel the stunning atmosphere of the old city and at the same time see lots of young people walking around. A must-see location if you're visiting in the region. The architecture is amazing, as well as the restaurants and the transport. Great location.

There's a real mixture of buildings ranging from ornate colourful ones to the occasional Soviet style block. There are numerous pubs, restaurants & bars lining the square so you'll always get a decent beer & food. At Easter time there's a Spring fair & in December & start of January a Christmas fair. Olomouc may not be on the tourist trail at all if you're coming from England, but if you find yourself in the town, then take the time to visit the Upper Square.
K	Kerstin Berg on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the two nice town squares of Olomouc. Good ice-cream, try poppy seed, it's very good. For the experimental ones try cucumber (no idea how that tastes). Town hall in the middle of the square, with an astronomical clock in socialist realism style. Small figures move at noon only. There is a white church behind the square where you can go up it's square tower for a view over the city.

A	Amarok Sh on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Olomouc is a perfect town to stop by or spend a day or two here. It is neat and cozy. Lots of historical buildings and places but there is also university which makes town a living student space
K	Káló András on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This town is a perfect choice for a holiday. But be careful you'll have to ask the restaurant if they accept credit card. There are many small restaurants they don't accept credit, be very careful, don't use ATM,, JBL charge you a lot of money. We used the ATM , we took 200 Czech crowns out of it. They charged extra costs now the same the amount. They charged 195 Czech krone. Do not use ATM, just use your card.
