Kamenná nádrž na vodu má čtvercový půdorys, přičemž strany jsou uprostřed prolomeny půloválem a na vnější straně jsou profilovány. Uprostřed nádrže jsou osazeny dva kamenné pilíře, na nichž je uložen kamenný sokl se sochou Herkula v nadživotní velikosti. Sohy znázorňuje bájneho hrdinu s kyjem v pravé ruce. V levé ruce pak drží Herkules šachovanou orlici – symbol města, kterou chrání před sedmihlavou hydrou. Sochu vytvořil sochař Michael Mandík, kamennou nádrž kašny Václav Schüler. The stone water tank has a square ground plan, the sides are broken in the middle by a half-oval and profiled on the outside. Kašna se stala nedílnou součástí veřejného prostoru historického jádra Olomouce v jeho nejexponovanějším místě - na Horním náměstí. Popis Kamenná nádrž na vodu má čtvercový půdorys, jehož strany jsou uprostřed kamenně prolomeny půloválem a jsou na vnější straně profilovány. Uprostřed nádrže osazeny dva obdélné kamenné pilíře, na nich uložen kamenný hranol čtvercového půdorysu. Na něm spočívá socha Herkula v nadživotní velikosti s kyjem v pravé ruce, v levé ruce drží šachovanou orlici, s rozpjatými křídly.
