Petrášův palác

A beautiful Baroque palace on the upper square with an important history, not only for Olomouc or Moravia, but in its time even for the whole of Austria-Hungary.

Representative two-storey palace with attic floor and middle rectangular courtyard in the compact development of the historic city center. The ground floor is completely arched. In the entrance mázhauzu and connecting corridors are cross vaults, in rooms facing the street. The monumental facade of the square is late Baroque, on the first floor four-winged with one double-glazed, on the second and third roof six-winged. The ground floor is lined with rectangular sandstone slabs with a late Baroque portal in the center and simple three-piece shop windows on the sides. The portal is arched by a compressed arch. On the sides there are cantilevered columns, topped with half-figures of atlants, bearing cranks, on whose ledge are two symmetrically placed two statues of semi-recumbent amorites. In the center is located monumental stone coat of arms freedom. Mr. Petras. The entrance is closed by an original wooden gate with a wrought baroque grille in the transom. The windows on the floors are framed by profiled lining with handles on which are placed volute brackets carrying richly bent above-window cornices, framing the central eye of God. The floors are framed by corner moldings. The loft is illuminated by small windows, decorated with handles. On them is mounted cornice with a motif of trigliff. The roofs are gabled, illuminated in the part facing the square by four small dormers.
