★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tato brána byla dokončena v roce 1752 jako součást pevnostního opevnění města. Pojmenována byla na počest panovnice Marie Terezie, která byla otevření přítomna.
Městské opevnění bylo prolomeno devíti branami: Židovská, Blažejská, Dolní, Střední, Litovelská, Rohelská, Nová, Všech svatých a Hradská.
Ještě si rozšifrujeme tajemnou zkratku na bráně: zkratka: D.G.R.I.G.H.B.R. = Dei Gratia Romana Imperatrix Germaniae Hungariae Boemiae Regina =
česky: Z Boží milosti římská císařovna, královna německá, uherská a česká.
This gate was completed in 1752 as part of the fortifications of the city. It was named in honor of Queen Maria Theresa, who was present at the opening.
The city fortifications were broken by nine gates: Jewish, Blažejská, Dolní, Střední, Litovelská, Rohelská, Nová, Všech svých and Hradská.
