★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Large room with opening windows and a free standing fan. Close to the tram to go to town but it is a good walk. Great breakfast with friendly staff. Reception staff were helpful but not too friendly. Enjoyed or stay. Brno is a great place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Shocking experience. Hotel was unfinished renovation was still taking place so no bar or restaurant open in hotel . No kettle in the room,safe didn't work when this was brought to receptions attention they couldn't have been more unhelpful. Defensive rather than trying to solve the problem. Breakfast was the same every morning shocking for a supposed 4 star hotel. Without doubt the worst hotel I have stayed in. Reception staff very unhelpful throughout stay

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best hotels I've stayed in! Don't get confused by the outer (Soviet-era) look of the building. Inside is a modern hotel with great service, look and value. Rooms are bright and large, with stylish orange furniture, including a desk of proper size (a rare find in today's hotels). Everything looks modern, cared for, and recently renovated. And the breakfast!!! I would stay in this hotel just for their breakfast. There are so many options, everything is so fresh, and staff is so attentive and professional that I only wish I stayed in this hotel longer.

The breakfast in the upper restaurant is good and offers lots of options but don't expect exquisite stuff.
The city centre is 15-20 mins by foot, you might want to consider something closer if you plan to visit the old city more than once.
All in all the place is good value for money and a good choice for staying in Brno for a few nights.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This hotel is about 950 m away from the city centre and this adds quite a distance to the old town, and other attractions. Lovely clean and modern rooms. Comfortable bed and a modern spotless bathroom with a shower cubicle. Fabulous buffet breakfast; we had a late breakfast once, more like brunch and we were good till evening. Helpful staff, non intrusive. Only thing badly missed was a ceiling fan or at least a pedestal fan. I spent 5 nights here and the weather was warm. But after 8 pm it starts cooling down and we were comfortable. We of course had to leave the balcony door open for a few hours. Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You might be in a slight shock if you first arrive at the hotel as you will see ugly, dirty-looking panel house from a soviet era. However, it's another world on the inside of the hotel due to its recent renovation.
With receptionists that can speak multiple languages (I experienced Polish, Russian, Czech and English), super clean and modern interiors, nice views to downtown Brno and a very good continental breakfast, this is probably one of the best price-to-value ratio hotels in this area.
One warning/tip for summer 2021: As all the roads around the hotel are under heavy renovations, don't be afraid to drive through the "do not pass" signs, if it's safe to do so and especially if you navigate to the hotel from Bauerova road. I drove for 5kms around it and then they asked me to drive through the "do not pass" sign anyway to park the car in the back of the hotel.
