★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food was pretty good, general atmosphere isn't bad. Servers kinda make you feel like you're rushed (at least on Friday evening), so maybe not the best place to just relax for a while. Regardless, try the duck leg with cabbage. Very nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pilsner Urquelle restaurants (Restaurants in the Czech Republic are affiliated with the breweries) seem to have pushed out the other brewery's eating establishments in the heart of Prague, Although many of these are good, it is well worth seeking out the Budvar examples.
Although the PU is great (and the Kozel Dark is in a league of its own), to my taste the independent, Budwieser Budvar is a superior beer.
This is a Budvar restaurant, and the food is very good, We ate there twice on our recent trip to Prague.
I had the roast duck (mislabeled in English as "Duck Confit" ) that was very satisfying. Roasted almonds are a must - be warned, this is a big serving also. The goulash is very good also.
This is a little out of the "tourist" area, but is easily accessible by Tram 18 or the green subway. It is worth the little effort to get there. Did I mention that the staff were great?
