Pomník obětem první světové války byl realizován žamberským rodákem, sochařem Františkem Rousem a odhalen u příležitosti 10. výročí vzniku Československé republiky v říjnu roku 1928. The memorial to the victims of the First World War was created by a native of Žamberk, sculptor František Rous, and unveiled on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Czechoslovak Republic in October 1928. The work stands in Vojáčkovy sady orchards. The memorial lists 99 names of people who were killed, missing and died as a result of injuries. In front of the monument there are two columns on which the names of the missing and deceased persons appear, which the author probably received at a time when they could no longer be placed on the main monument. The front is facing west.
