Važme si lidí, kteří pro nás něco udělali a nepouštějme do svého života lidí, kteří nás poškodili.
Let us respect the people who have done something for us and do not let people who have harmed us into our lives.

Masarykovo náměstí v Žamberku je městskou památkovou zónou. Kromě historických krásně opravených domů tady najdeme Mariánský sloup, kašnu Nymfa a kentaur, pomník T. G. Masaryka a krásnou Radnici. Bronzová bysta T. G. Masaryka je dílem žamberského rodáka, akademického sochaře Josef Kotyzy. Základy vzdělání získal v dílně žamberského řezbáře Josefa Rouse. Poté absolvoval odbornou školu v Chrudimi a Uměleckoprůmyslovou školu v Praze. Vytvořil řadu historických portrétů, například Jana Husa, J. A Komenského, nebo K Havlíčka Borovského. Masaryk Square in Žamberk is an urban conservation area. In addition to the beautifully restored historic houses, there is the Marian Column, the Nymph and Centaur Fountain, the T. G. Masaryk Memorial and the beautiful Town Hall. The bronze bust of T. G. Masaryk is the work of a native of Žamberk, the academic sculptor Josef Kotyza. He gained the basic education in the workshop of a woodcarver Josef Rous from Žamberk. Then he graduated from the vocational school in Chrudim and the School of Applied Arts in Prague. He created a number of historical portraits, such as Jan Hus, J. A Komenský, and K Havlíček Borovský.
