About Pastař
V roce 2014 si Honza Blažek, zkušený restauratér a zakladatel firmy na výrobu čerstvých těstovin Čerstvá Pasta a jeho kamarád a obchodní partner Tomáš Arnold, zkušený manažer první Michelinové restaurace Allegro, Hotel Four Season ,otevřeli autentickou italskou, rodinou, stylovou restauraci Pastař.
Stylová restaurace Pastař se nachází v historické budově, jen přes most od Národního divadla.
Naším přáním je vytvořit místo, kde se lidé mohou setkávat, bavit, smát a užívat si kreací našich kuchařů. Milujeme to, co děláme a podporujeme pouze takové malovýrobce se stejnými hodnotami.

I found a cheaper lunch menu but the explanation is weekend price is different. That difference was large.
Probably the most expensive meal I had in Prague and definitely not the best ....
With all that said... It's still not bad, the price did affect my impression of it

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff was nice, but the food was terrible. We had pasta. The bolognese was very sweet and the carbonara barely had any taste, only a weird after-taste. We both didn't feel good after eating here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Today we had a nice friend occasion, so we found this place.
The dishes were good and delicious, and serving young man was very polite.
However, when we proceeded to the payment, the blond young waiter lady acted quite rude.
We first agreed to pay altogether- so we confirmed to her, however, our friend asked later to split for her separately - the waiter lady said "if you didn't know, usually people say IN ADVANCE if they want to pay separately. In ALL DECENT restaurants it is a rule".
Well, we didn't plan to pay separately neither at first, but things happen, so our friend just politely asked her to split. No big deal. Besides, is it hard to press "Cancel" on the terminal and just simply re-enter the amount ?
That was an unlucky ending of the occasion celebration.
Do not recommend visiting as that blond waiter lady apparently thinks she can speak to the customers like that.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A lovely spot in the sunshine and a beautifully presented fresh burrata in Pastař this afternoon together with a very tasty glass of sauvignon blanc and a beer to while away the time watching a Czech policeman give parking tickets to a waiting minibus and a line of parked cars ?♂️? ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cosy restaurant with a very well put together menu. The calamari risotto was great and we loved the chocolate mousse dessert too. Portions are on the smaller side, but this was actually a big plus for us since we could try a starter, a main and dessert without feeling stuffed. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Would visit again!

The food was good, the ingredients fresh and tasty.
Our disappointment was unfortunately the service. Our waiter was rude and quite pushy (during the payment process, before we specified our desired tips amount, he set up the POS machine with the amount he wanted which was a NO GO!).
