Maximálně se nám snažili vyjít vstříc ve všech našich požadavcích, parkováním počínaje, koncem pracovní doby konče. Ano, nevyspíte se zde, protože v zimě běžkujete a pak své zážitky 'vesele' sdílíte s ostatními hosty. Atmosférou Zlatá stezka odkazuje spíše ke klubu gentlemanů, dobré pivo, normální jídlo za normální ceny. Tu nádhernou šumavskou pohodu jsme posvětili tradičním českým rumem, Republikou, s velkou úctou. Zde se prostě odhaluje něco z toho, co kdysi dělalo Šumavu Šumavou a má to svou neokázalou poetiku. Do not expect uncomfortable and you will be pleasantly surprised by the Golden Trail at Modrava. We have tried our best to meet all of our requirements, starting with parking, ending working hours. Nádobí nebylo pořádně umyté, prostor působil zanedbaně, nečistě. Dali jsme si jen nedobrou polévku a šli se raději najíst jinam. Sem už opravdu nikdy. Tragedy. A vulgar waitress who handles family matters with colleagues so that the whole pub can hear it. (This restaurant cannot be called a restaurant.) The dishes were not properly washed, the space looked neglected, unclean. We just had a bad soup and went to eat elsewhere. Never really again.

I přesto, že je penzion ve stylu, který zachovává tradici, najdete tady vše, co potřebujete pro dovolenou. Blízkost do centra Modravy, parkovisko, běžkařskou trasu přímo u chaty a na sjezdovku je to cca 200 m. Pokoje jsou vkusně zařízené a restaurace na Vás dýchne atmosférou "starých dobrých časů". Kuchyně je výborná, tak so co přát dalšího... Here you will meet the history of both the ancient past and the time of our parents. Even though the guest house is in a tradition-friendly style, you will find everything you need for a holiday here. Proximity to the center of Modrava, parking, cross-country ski trail right next to the cottage and the ski slope is about 200 m.
