P	Petra Magyerkova on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ V penzionu U Kapličky jsme strávili dvě noci. Ubytování i jednání s paní majitelkou hodnotíme velmi kladně. Pokoj byl obrovský, čtyřlůžkový. K dispozici byla i kuchyňka a malá lednička. Koupelna a WC menší, ale plně dostačující. Všude čisto. Možnost parkování hned za penzionem. Jelikož penzion nenabízel stravování, hned vedle se nachází Sněhurka, kde měli opravdu chutné snídaně. Přímo v centru Železné Rudy pak spousta míst, kam zajít na dobrý oběd či večeři - doporučujeme např. Bufet Kryštof Částka. Vadil nám snad jen trochu hluk od silnice, jelikož okna pokoje směřovaly právě tam. Děkujeme za pěkný pobyt. We spent two nights in the Pension U Kapličky. We rate accommodation and negotiations with the owner very positively. The room was huge, quadruple. There was also a kitchenette and a small refrigerator. Bathroom and toilet smaller, but fully sufficient. Everywhere clean. Parking right behind the pension. As the guesthouse did not offer meals, right next to it is Snow White, where they had a really tasty breakfast. Right in the center of Zelezna Ruda there are plenty of places to go for a good lunch or dinner - we recommend eg Kryštof Částka Buffet. It bothered us just a little noise from the road, as the windows of the room were facing there. Thank you for a nice stay.
I	Ivana on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kladný: Penzion je v centru Železné Rudy a přitom v klidné ulici, což hodnotím kladně. Blízko několik restaurací i obchod. Personál ochotný, všude čisto.. Záporný: Pro tři dospělé osoby se nám zdál pokoj malý a malé okno, pro nás zkrátka málo vzduchu, málo prostoru. Vzhledem ke slunečnému počasí, kdy jsme celý den byli venku to nevadilo. Málo úložného prostoru, málo ramínek ve skříni. Společná kuchyň, vzhledem k tomu, že byla pro 4 pokoje, se nám zdála také malá. Hlavně ráno to byl problém..

Unfortunately there was no snow in December, but the locals did their very best to create artificial snow for the nearby beginners' ski slopes. The host was also very helpful in recommending various walks and local 'must-see' points. I would recommend you come by car. This gives you the flexibility to also explore the German side and the Arber mountain which had more snow and more open ski slopes..
