Perfect Smile Ltd. - V Kolkovně 909/6

I have had a very bad experience with Perfect Smile. I live in the UK and, like many, thought having dental treatment abroad would be cheaper, even after covering flights. That’s something I could confirm after seeing ‘Perfect Smiles’ rates online and exchanges a couple of emails with the clinic. Searching online, I also had come across representatives from the clinic interviewing at a Czech TV program, which felt reassuring. On my first appointment, where we took x-rays and agreed the type of braces would suit best my needs, I was told that visiting the clinic once every 3 months would be enough to fix my overbite and crooked teeth. That was another plus for someone having to travel a far distance for treatment and, as the doctor confirmed it to be the standard check-up period for that type of braces, I went ahead and paid the first installment of my plan. Things started turning sour when, on my second visit, and without an explanation as to why, the braces fitted did not cover all my teeth (which I then learned wouldn’t sort my jaw issue). I was also fitted bite blocks, something that affected my speech and had never come up in my previous conversations and consultation with the clinic. Moreover, the doctor (different from my first consultation) then told me I’d have to start visiting the clinic every 6-8 weeks for check-ups (not 3 months!) – again, just saying ‘that’s just what it is’, with no further explanation. In addition, problems started appearing immediately as the end wires on the braces were left open, causing intensive bleeding and bruising to my mouth. I had to return two days later to have it looked into (lucky I was still in the country). Upon returning to the UK, with more time to think, I started questioning what had happened and got in touch with the clinic. I wanted to see my x-rays, impressions and asked for a copy of my treatment plan, none of which were ever shown to me. Unfortunately, I had been told nobody was available to answer my questions via email and I that I could not speak to a doctor over the phone, and was asked to arrange another visit instead, which meant jump on the plane to speak to a doctor. I then went on to seek a second opinion with 4 different orthodontists, both in the Czech Republic and UK, and learnt, by all of them, that the treatment I was receiving from Perfect Smile was not what I needed. I ended up withdrawing from the contract and had my braces removed by other clinic as Perfect Smile would charge me three times more than elsewhere and showed themselves very unwilling to do so. As a patient coming for treatment from abroad, I felt I was misinformed about the frequency at which I’d need to visit the clinic, being given misleading information before and after starting treatment. This is not a professional approach and I felt their set up was all about money, but no patient aftercare. I would strongly urge anyone considering treatment at Perfect Smile to go somewhere else. If for any reason you want to go ahead with them, then please make sure to: - Ask and keep a copy of your contract (in EN if you don’t speak/read Czech), from your very first appointment – I was never given any. -Ask to see your x-rays, impressions and for a copy of your treatment plan (when I asked for mine, treating legal action, I was – unbelievably told - it was inside the doctor’s head!!!!) To anyone reading this, feel free to contact me if you want to know more – it might just save you money, time and a lot of headache!

Caring doctor. But I never stepped into the office on time (although I always arrive 5 mins in advance), have to wait 10 mins or so.

From the point of scheduling to getting my braces everything was a breeze! I came in on a Monday for a consult and next Thursday i had braces. Ortho assistants, Managers, everyone was so friendly and professional. Dr.Jana&Jana were so chill and gentle my nervousness went away. Thank you so much Perfect Smile Orthodontics!

Avoid!!!!!!!!! Terrible expierance. My girlfriend suffered 4 years and any results, even worst. Now have to remake everything. This clinic are rubbers. Any guaranty they give. They will suck out your wallet, be careful!!!!!!!!!!

Unprofessional behaviour from Perfect Smile. Back in November - December 2020 I have arranged an appointment for first check about braces. The first available date was in 2 month (Feb 2021) and I have agreed to wait. When the time was approaching I sent email asking if possible to move the appointment 30 min earlier and reception advised that due to absence of the doctor we need to move my consultation to another day at all (in 2 days). New time didn’t fit me well and also since I am working I am able to do mornings or evenings (informed them in the beginning) . So then they proposed a new date in 3 month. Seems company is not really interested in money and clients

I've went to them for three years for braces. The staff was always friendly, details of the contract and treatment plans were discussed beforehand and were unchanged once established, and wait times for each appointment were low (0-10 min usually). Possible improvements: The overall result was good, though I was hoping for it to be even better after such a long treatment plan but perhaps my teeth were just particularly stubborn. Perhaps the treatment frequency could be a little higher. Obviously, familiarize yourself all aspects of the contract thoroughly and keep it until the end, it may prove useful even later on.

As a child I received orthodontic treatment at home in Barcelona. But I didn't get any retention and my teeth was bended again. As an adult man I decided to deal with my defect of the smile. Due to work I moved to Prague and gave the recommendation of colleagues from the company who visited this clinic. I must say that I had no idea where the orthodontics had gone in not too long. Aesthetic fixed braces, invisible aligners, digital simulations, individual-made treatment, responsible retention. Here in Prefect Smile I felt comfortable. It is a family office with a very friendly attitude. To make me understand everything they gave me a few sessions before starting the treatment. After applying the braces my treatment went nice without unpleasant surprises. I am satisfied with the result after 1,5 year long treatment. I still wear retention braces for the night and I have fixed retainers behind my teeth. These will remain with me for a few more years. But that's no problem. I don't notice them very much. I can recommend Perfect Smile to anyone who needs an orthodontist.
