★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pod Strakonickým hradem na řece Otavě je postaven tzv. "Pětikolský" jez. Jez je velmi nebezpečný. Je to kolmý a výškově stavitelný jez. Pod jezem tvoří padající voda velký válec s nebezpečným zpětným proudem.
 The so-called "Pětikolský" weir is built under the Strakonice Castle on the Otava River. Weir is very dangerous. It is a vertical and height-adjustable weir. Under the weir, the falling water forms a large cylinder with a dangerous backflow.
