 The Sand Gate is a part of the former town fortification, originally built in Gothic style, the current appearance dates back to 1727. The gate connects Mlýnská Street with the Krajinka Park.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Durch die rote Farbe des Gebäudes ist es als Fotomotiv durchaus ansprechend, ansonsten allerdings komplett unspektakulär. Eine überdachte Holzbrücke führt daneben über den Fluß, von dort hat man den besten Blick.
