★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The lady at reception lost her tongue. No response to hello not goodbye.
Had to wait 15 minutes to order. The three things we wanted to order were not available, but we have only been told after trying to order (again, after 15 minutes). Very uncomfortable.
The service all in all was the worst. Very inattentive and slow.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I like their beer and their tartar steak (which wasn't the best yesterday).
Be aware that you need to book a table, especially in the evening or it can happen that your planned dinner won't happen. It's really busy place with a good reputation of food and great selection of beers from it's own brewery. They have I think 3 on the constant drinks list and they do seasonal specialities - Advent beer 14° (probably 6% alc.) and NewYear beer 13°. Their beers for English drinkers are standing somewhere between ales and lagers. Probably more lager styles

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Free beer for hotel guest, restaurant food is good and cheap. BIG SHOPPING CENTRE right next door with Costa, MacDonald , KFC. Also the hotel is right in the middle of town centre. Enjoy my stay and staff is very friendly. HOTEL wifi is good and staff are friendly and helpful. You can bring your bicycle too to ride

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent service! Speaking very little Czech, I found information for parking. I visited my room for my keys, and the bartender was waiting to help me with my car to navigate to the hotel parking! Very good service!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Service was a disaster even for Central Europe (I come from Slovakia and have been living in Czechia the last 10yrs so I know what I'm talking about and don't compare it with the West), the restaurant has prices comparable to those in Prague but with a much worse food and service quality, for sure don't go for salads, our waiter Vaclav didn't speak any word of German/English but it was fine cause I can speak Czech so I translated for my bf who didn't, when ordering the drinks we asked for tea and our waiter complained and told us that he doesn't know what kinds they have because he is a beer specialist and not a soft drinks specialist, he messed up the drink order and then blamed us for it. The salads we ordered almost for 180czk each were already premade (all ingredients were freezing cold), mine had lots of water in and seasoning was also very bad. Hopefully the traditional cousine will be better but in any case the service is terrible. AVOID IF YOU CAN!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The beer is very good. There is not such a good meal selection anymore. I visited this place many times and I remember it was better years ago. They are full all the time and good place to watch some sport events. Free WiFi. Reservation is necessary during the night.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel rooms are tiny, which is fine, but they should really put more effort into cleaning and keeping the place in a better condition. Overall the room was clean, but there was stuff like chipped wood on the bed frame and some peeling paint from the walls, yellow stains on the dresser etc. The bathroom though, just look at the pictures... The vent on the ceiling was absolutely disgusting, filled with dust and just nasty. Dried toothpaste on the faucet that was rusted. Moldy looking tub. One tiny bag of hair shampoo and a bar of soap, no shower gel. It wasn't the worst hotel to stay at for sure, but for a three star hotel I would expect something else. They had signs about having to wear a face mask inside all over the front door, but as soon as you enter, nobody from the staff is wearing it, not the receptionist nor the restaurant staff, except one dude. The restaurant is looking quite nice though and have a sweet outside sitting area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice value-for-money hotel with decent, clean enough no-frills rooms above an excellent pivovar with home-brewed beer and lots of traditional Czech cuisine delights. The hotel itself I would normally rate at 3-stars but the pivovar drives that to the well-deserved 4-stars for me. Big chance I’ll visit again in the future!
