I just don't feel the atmosphere of a Chech pub. Why? The answer is the staff. They could bring that place to the top, creating unforgettable atmosphere there. But they don't. Nobody gives a sh## how many clients come. That place is also attached somehow to a beautiful hotel in a castle on the other side of the road. I cannot understand the philosophy of the managers, who do not recognize that hotel guests in a place like that are looking for a brewery to spend an evening there. I went there at 21:00 and all was closed. No chances for that outstanding beer. WHY IS THAT? WHAT FOR YOU HAD OPENED THE PUB? WHY THE STAFF IS SO UNFRIENDLY AND COLD?

It was a Sunday evening and no buses were running anywhere around Svijany. When we finally got there, there were no free tables but the staff were incredibly kind and helpful and put a couple of tables and chairs together and had us seated. The beer is simply incredible, there is plenty of variety to choose from and the food is very delicious. Definitely coming back.

To start on a positive note - if you like Czech beer, you will find a good variety of types from the brewery and all we have tried were very tasty and will not cost you more than 1,5 Eur. Service was not an issue too. But that's pretty much it. It is quite sad, that place like this, with so much potential, has turned to restaurant focusing on bus tours of mainly elderly people. While the place has some hints of coziness inside, the odour from toilets is very rare these days and threw me back to 90s. If you don't eat meat, don't expect any other option here, than fried cheese with fries (yes all salads are with meat). The whole menu is composed in rather boring way and is not meant to bring any pleasure, just fill your stomach and is as plain as their website. Any sense of creativity or desire of bringing its guests to the beautiful art of beer this country is so famous for is present here. . Having visited main restaurants of other breweries, I just was hoping for much more, that will reflect on the quality of beer they do.
