R	Robert Siuta-Romanowski on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well, I love it except for 3 things: neighborhood, in particular the restaurant attached to a brewery, which I had mentioned already in a separate opinion; the other things is safety. I stayed on the 2 floor. The only way there is the elevator. No stairs (!) What if anything happens in the middle of the night? The reception is not open 24/7, so calling sb at night in case of fire is a waste of time, and you could be basically cut off the way to escape. The other thing is, if there's no air-conditioning (which is not a must, of course), the windows should be made in a way so one could have them opend. Mine were closing all the time within the slightest blow of the wind, as you open them to outside. I eventually had to dismentel them to have some fresh air. As there is a little place to prepare meals, there should be a fridge there, and glasses, plates, forks etc. Maybe they are just in the process of changes, so I do not judge. Anyways, the hotel besides is fantastic! Good job! Just correct those little things, and it will be close to perfection.
K	Karla Rutukaru on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The most interesting part of history of Svijany which you can see in exposition in the castle is the archeological research about the culture living at this place 3000 b.c. A lot of well preserved graves found and picked up and documented. Really worth to visit.

J	J B on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beer right from the source was excellent, and so was meal from restaurant next to Zámek Svijany. We had a room on 3rd floor. Great bathroom with spacious shower in stone style siding. Attic room was nice and clean. Staff was helpfull and friendly
P	Petra Kamenicka on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Considering we did not stay over at Svijany for the purpose of trying beer, but as a place to sleep close to Cesky Raj as no closer places were available, it was an average place. The room was of decent size, calm and with a window with a nice view. However, getting to the hotel without a car is not the best as the closest train stop is in a village nearby. Quality of breakfast was alright, nothing outstanding, but the lady at the breakfast was very helpful. We had a dinner in a restaurant across the street, which unfortunately did not impress us with the food, however, there was no other option in the city. On the other hand, the beer there was amazing! Furthermore, there is a "souvenir shop" (Pivovarska prodejna) with a big variety of beers, gifts and various products.
