The stone mill was built in the 16th century, but its present appearance dates back to the late 19th century. In his half a barn was built to the mill, standing nearby. Originally, the water wheel was driven by water from a pond that had disappeared during the 19th century. After the First World War a sawmill and a small hydroelectric power plant were established in the mill. The Francis turbine worked in the mill since 1943, but its operation was terminated in the 1950s. Nowadays the building is not open to the public.
