★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are visiting Kutna Hora and have hired a car, it is worth taking a trip to this village. In the woods nearby at Chlistovice, there is a fortress ruin where a large medieval battle took place. The restaurant Melcer Vit served us two beers and I had their speciality three meats with chips and salad. The total was 145 Kr when the exchange was 38 Kr to the £1, unbelievable. I was stuffed solid.
