Klokočské rocks are very interesting, pretty "leaky", someone definitely takes care of the roads, even if they need to be repaired in some places. Garbage bags were also available. Rotštejn castle ruins, nice views - just a great trip. Besedické rocks are a short distance away - also very beautiful.

Narrow entrance to the cave, I was afraid to enter, there are bats inside. The surroundings of the cave are a magical forest and the U Klokočí rocks are not a mistake, you can walk to the ruins of the Rotštejn castle. There were a lot of mushrooms in the forest. We spent the whole morning here.

Postojná Cave (also known as America) is located in the Klokočské skály nature reserve in Zelený důl. It was named after the landowners of the village that once lived above it. In these places, their cattle were lost. In an effort to save the animal, they shouted at them: "Stand small!" A very narrow entrance leads to one of the largest underground spaces in the Bohemian Paradise measuring 16 x 18 meters. Other corridors branch from the cave, which gradually narrow. Unfortunately, it is no longer accessible today to protect the fragile internal ecosystem. Postojná is the largest pseudo-karst cave in the Bohemian Paradise and was used by people of the Lusatian culture as early as around 1200 BC. The settlement of the Postojna cave by prehistoric man is based on the discovery of ceramic shards in the entrance part of the cave by J. Filip in 1943 and the subsequent sound research by L. The Postojná Cave, also called the Cave of America, is a part of the Klokoč Rocks. It is part of a set of beautiful overhangs and smaller caves and manholes. The sandstone rocks are overgrown with pine trees and offer a beautiful view, from some places we can see and to the ruins. Also known here is the cave "Indian burial ground" or "eagle's nest" cave high on a rock into which a tree trunk was climbed. The Postojná cave itself consists of one larger spacious cave, where we can move freely without any problems, and of three other smaller ones connected by tunnels and lanes. Definitely worth a visit.

A great cave that confuses the "body" - an unexpectedly large space is connected to the small entrance, where an adult guy will stand up (right behind the entrance, one thinks that he can straighten up, but wait until then ?). Take the flashlight / phone with you so you can see something and not trip over a few bigger stones. Kids will definitely enjoy it. We were pleasantly surprised that it was clean inside.
