★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I just returned to the UK from Prague on Saturday 24th July 2021 having spent six days having trifocal replacement lenses fitted.
The whole experience could not have been better. All questions and worries were well dealt before and during my visit by Romana who was my contact.
The procedures were excellent and professional and at this stage I am very happy with my vision. I no longer need to wear glasses for either distance or reading.
I was met at the airport and taken to the Panama Hotel which was also excellent and escorted to the clinic on the first day, a five minute walk.
The health and eye checks before surgery were though and reassuring.
I recommend anyone considering the procedure pursuing it to see if is right for them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ About 1 year ago, I had a routine eye test and was diagnosed with a cataract in my right eye. A leading UK provider who claimed to offer a solution "from" £2000 (on their website) eventually quoted me £4300 for lens replacement in the one eye.
PragaMedica/Neovize offer a fixed price shopping list of treatments, and 1 ended up having lens replacement in both eyes for around £3000.
This is obviously great value for any Brit, but possibly more important to anyone reading this is that everything about the experience was first class.
My dealings with Rita were fantastic: an incredibly helpful professional who arranged everything in the finest detail from a pick up at the airport, a
guide/interpreter for my first day of medical tests and even my departing PCR test for free.
The staff at the clinic were fabulous and, of course, the treatment went very smoothly and I am typing this without glasses.
Last point - for those of you who may be squeamish about treatment on your precious eyes - don't be. You don't see or feel anything during the procedure, and the next day you have practically perfect vision in that eye. As I said, since going back to work after only 5 days, I haven't needed to wear glasses.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had LASIK with PragaMedica three weeks ago and I couldn’t be happier. From my initial enquiry, my email correspondence with Marie was prompt and helpful. On arrival at the clinic, I was met by a representative who talked me through the pre-operative process and accompanied me throughout. The majority of the staff spoke excellent English, and when they didn’t, my representative translated.
The pre-op testing was very thorough, I was in the clinic for about three hours. On the day of the surgery I was accompanied once again and looked after by very friendly staff. Although I was nervous, the surgery itself was quick and painless. On the day of discharge, I was examined and told I now have 20.20 vision.
For the first two weeks, I experienced some discomfort and dry/tired eyes, this was helped by the drops provided. Three weeks on, this is much improved and my vision is excellent.
I highly recommend this clinic, if you are unsure about booking, rest assured that it is the right decision. I have recommended the clinic to family members. I was quoted double the price for the same surgery in the UK and I am very glad I chose PragaMedica.

All the staff were very professional and courteous, appointments were on time and the procedures carried out very efficiently. I took advice on the hotel to use from Marie in the office, turns out it was only a few minutes walk from the clinic, clean and comfortable. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend anyone thinking of eye surgery to contact Praga Medica.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent customer service from start to finish. Romana organised my eye surgery for me, i chose to use there sister clinic at Bratislava and they even sent a translator who was very pleasant too. I now have new tri focal lenses and 20/20 vision.
I am that impressed that i have re booked with them to have 8 new veneers at there dentistry department in Prague.

From my first online inquiries to Praga Medica in 2020 to the final check up after my second surgery in July 2021, everyone on their team was thoroughly professional and efficient , while at the same time personable and responsive. The accommodations in Prague were first rate with just a short walk to the clinic. Finally, after 50 years of wearing glasses and dealing with contact lenses, I am now free.
