★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Location was excellent, room was nice. If you want quiet forget about it, the street are filled with loud party goers all night you can hear everything through the closed window, like a Mardi gras crossed with a rugby game. Staff was average at best, had to lug my own 50 lb suit case up 2.5 flights. Asked for water was told to get it from my room at a charge and water was only free at breakfast. When checking out I had to make two trips to get my stuff down so I left my door open and got scolded for doing so.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved the place! Different atmosphere than your regular cutout cookie hotel. Old building with it's own charm. Convenient location right in the heart of the historic center. Receptionists were very polite and helpful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had such a fun experience staying here; be warned, though, the hotel's air conditioning is questionable if it even exists and there's no elevator--we didn't mind, though, because everything else was so great. The rooms are clean and a good enough size. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast in the morning is great! The location can't be beat.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful location near astronomical clock & tons of delicious eateries. Service was exceptional! Room was spacious with all the amenities one could want. Bed was super comfortable & water pressure in the shower was fantastic. Highly recommend for couples or even small families.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very quaint and cozy hotel in a prime location. The rooms are clean tidy and eloquent, owning up to the name golden age. Kind and courdial staff. for 35~ euro a night for a 2 people bedroom the value at this hotel is super high!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spent 2 nights there in a twin bedroom and private bathrooms, the stay was very pleasant. The hostel is ideally placed in the old town, rooms are clean, bed comfortable, there was no breakfast because of pandemic, but you can easily find breakfast in the area.
We had a late night commutation and big luggages, the receptionist was very accomodating to keep our bags.
The only things that might be improved are the curtains, they don't block the sunlight enough if you are sensible like my friend.
