★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perhaps the best local food I had in Prague while beening here for more than a month.
The prices are far cheaper than most other places.
Of course it isn't the best looking place and don't expect a menu in English or anyone to speak English there.
So use your mobile phone for translation or even better have a local friend to visit the place with.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Service is very average, food is average too, but for that money it is good. Cheap and good beer, nice design, this is how pubs here looked 20-30 years ago. It could be good as travel experience. Don't expect healthy food, almost everything is deeply fried here, except for dumplings.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice old school Czech pub. Service is fast (including kitchen), decor original. Beer could be sometimes a bit better, depends on what is on the tap. Ideal place for beer after the work, but would not choose for dinner in two :)
Prices are more than favourable. Kind of like it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I try my best to learn the language and customs of where I am traveling. It hurts when I see myself being denied service due to the fact that I'm American. Being told they're closed then seeing someone who can speak the language fluently order right after me and being served. Working in the bar industry myself this is just flat out rude. Not to mention they had 45 minutes before closing when I showed up.
