★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is great to go by train from smichovske Nádraží to Praha - holyně, from there you can walk calmly about 1.5 km to prokopske údolí, také lunch in Černý Kohout and than continue 3.5 km to bus stop or train stop Praha Jinonice. Perfect family trip

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A well preserved rocky valley with the unique prehistoric Butovice hillfort above the valley's slopes. The hillfort is surrounded by several Prague quarters formed by blocks of flats, but on the foggy day these are mercifully hidden behind the fog curtains...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are seeking for a quiet place in the capital, there you go. Its nature is overwhelmingly beautiful. There are trees and meadows everywhere, places to sit every 500 meters and you can ride there a bike or come with a stroller and atill you will have no problem. It is alao equipped for families-playground is present. No bug restaurants inside the valley and it is great, because it would disturb the atmopshere.
