We stayed four nights in September, in a Deluxe room with King bed. It was very comfortable and quiet at night, provided the windows are closed at night, otherwise tire noise on the cobblestones can be loud at night. The hotel is located about 10 minutes walk from Prague Castle, about 30-40 minutes walk from Old Town, near the top of the ridge. It's an energetic walk up the hill to the hotel at the end of the night. The breakfast at the hotel offers many great options. However, there is a convenient market and Cafe nearby, with cost effective alternatives.

Aside from the big problem, the Questenberk deserves four-and-a-half stars. It's a lovely little hotel with very comfortable rooms and really nice staff. Service and cleaning are excellent, and I appreciated the Penhaligon toiletries that were replenished daily. The area is excellent, at the top of a hill on the other side of the castle, but it's a nice walk down Uvoz Street to a charming, less-commercial part of Prague and then bus and metro access everywhere. As I say, though, this is at the top of a hill, sufficiently daunting that I never tried the reverse walk. The 22 and 23 trams make the trip back up easy but this means you need tram tickets. Last night, though, I returned to the hotel slightly before midnight. The desk clerk asked when I intended to check out today, and I said between ten and eleven. Before six, though, the elevator started running constantly (it hums quite loudly), footsteps stomped down the halls, and it sounded like someone was emptying trash cans or ferrying luggage on metal trolleys down the hall. When it continued until 7, I called the desk and was informed that it was the staff making the noise, and that someone would talk with them. The noise continued until 7:30, when I realized sleeping was impossible. I checked out at 8. Regardless how nice a hotel is, the most important thing is quality of sleep. From before six this morning, sleeping was impossible at the Questenberk. So, it's a nice hotel. Would I return? Absolutely not.

The lovely Hotel Questenberk in Prague is a little gem in a city not poor of gems, open or hidden. The location up on the castle hill, with five minutes to walk to Prague Castle, is certainly one of the many advantages. The tram line 22 is in three minutes walking distance, so you stay connected to the Old Town. The hotel is in a building from the mid-17th century and has each room individually reshaped to accommodate the guests and show the old architecture. Our room had a very high wooden ceiling with mighty beams to support it. Our view out oft he window showed the towers of the neighbouring monastery, famed for its bell chimes and its beer. The bed was big and great to sleep in. We recommend booking your room with a breakfast option. The opulent breakfast meals in a very baroque eating room were one of the highlights of the day. The staff was eager to please and to help with many useful ideas how to make your time in Prague a really good one. It may not be the cheapest of all hotels in Prague, but certainly worth every cent you spend for it.

What can one say about this hotel. The quality of service is repeatedly beyond question. They always make our stay one to remember. We have recently stayed twice over an 8 day visit to the Czech Republic. They even stored some of our luggage between visits. You have a great team working for you. Always polite and always go that little bit further to make your stay one to remember. The limousine service is wonderful. Very friendly drivers. Prompt and professional. The staff are all excellent from front desk, room prep, turn down service, kitchen, the breakfasts are really top quality, and a special thanks to Ksenia who has a natural gift for customer service. Well done. We'll be back. Again. ?

Staff was very friendly. They were excellent at communicating prior to us checking in. We mentioned it was our honeymoon and they left us surprised. The only issue we had was their breakfast. They have a sign on the door that allows you to order breakfast delivered. When we asked them about, someone mentioned that it was old and that it should've been removed. I asked another gentlemen at the front desk and he said the same thing, that it would cost 18 euros even if I just wanted a yogurt. Upon check out, I brought it up with a different gentlemen and he said that I should've been able to get a yogurt at an individual price. Overall, the room was clean and had all the necessary things we needed. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it.

Had such a great experience at this hotel and I would highly recommend it to anyone in the future. I was traveling with my sister and my 7 month old son. They had had a pack and play set up for us in our room when we arrived. They let us check in early. We used their car service to get to and from the airport and they had a car seat for my son so that was one less thing I had to bring. It was a bit more than a taxi, but worth it for the convenience. Our favorite thing though was the tour guide you can book by the hour through the hotel. She was so wonderful! We just had a few days and wanted to squeeze a lot in and she made sure we saw everything and kept a good pace so my son would not get fussy in the stroller. It was great to have one guide for just my sister and I so we could see just what we wanted and at our own pace. The hotel also booked a boat tour for us and had lots of recommendations for restaurants. The rooms were clean and bed was comfy. Great view from our room! Just great overall experience!

The front desk was friendly but the ventilation in the room seems bad coz its burning inside wizout opening any heaters or air conditioning. And there’s only one small window in my room.

After politely asking to use a toilet I was refused. Before that my girlfriend used the toilet and the boss screamed at waitress to not allow any more people outside of restaurant. What a shameful experience. Try to be more human.
