★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Přírodní památka Velký Radechov byla vyhlášena v roce 1999 a nachází se u obce Dolní Krupá v horních partiích neovulkanického vrchu Radechov. Chráněné území je v péči Krajského úřadu Středočeského kraje. Prostor byl do počátku 90. let vojenským újezdem, předtím byl využíván jako honitba. Botanická inventarizace zjistila 82 druhů rostlin (např. řebříček obecný, tomka vonná, huseníček rolní, papratka samičí a další). Při zoologické inventarizaci bylo zjištěno 8 druhů střevlíkovitých brouků, bylo zjištěno 7 druhů pavouků a 21 druhů motýlů (např. otakárek fenyklový, soumračník jitrocelový, babočka kopřivová a další). Z obojživelníků byl zjištěn čolek horský a čolek obecný, skokan štíhlý a skokan hnědý, z plazů ještěrka obecná a slepýš křehký, ze savců rejsek obecný, norník rudý, myšice lesní a prase divoké. V oblasti bylo prokázáno 24 druhů ptáků včetně silně ohroženého holuba doupňáka.(zdroj: wikipedie)
The natural monument Velký Radechov was declared in 1999 and is located near the village of Dolní Krupá in the upper parts of the neovolcanic hill Radechov. The protected area is in the care of the Regional Office of the Central Bohemian Region. The area was a military district until the early 1990s, before that it was used as a hunting ground. The botanical inventory found 82 species of plants (eg yarrow, fragrant tomka, field beetle, female fern and others). During the zoological inventory, 8 species of ground beetles were found, 7 species of spiders and 21 species of butterflies were found (eg fennel swallowtail, plantain swallowtail, nettle butterfly and others). The newt and the newt, the lean and the brown frog were found in amphibians, the common lizard and the brittle newt from reptiles, the common shrew, the red fever, the wild mouse and the wild boar. 24 species of birds have been identified in the area, including the highly endangered wood pigeon (source: wikipedia)
