Budova byla několikrát vydrancována a poničena za třicetileté války – v roce 1631 císařskými vojsky, 1634 Sasy a 1639 Švédy. Vždy byla opravena, nakonec však podlehla ničivému požáru v roce 1733. Stavba tvořící výraznou dominantu jižní strany náměstí, pochází z let 1734 – 1738. Její dnešní podoba má kořeny ve 20.století. V interiéru jsou klenby, které mají pozoruhodnou štukovou výzdobu a nesou fresky. The town hall has been documented in Husovo Square since 1515. The building was plundered and destroyed during the Thirty Years' War - in 1631 by the imperial troops, 1634 by Saxons and 1639 by Swedes. It was always repaired, eventually defeated by a devastating fire in 1733. The building, which forms a significant dominant feature of the southern side of the square, dates back to 1734 - 1738. Its present appearance is rooted in the 20th century. The interior features vaults that have remarkable stucco decoration and frescoes. The town hall has been documented on Hus Square since 1515, it used to stand on Zákostelí.
