★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am australian with czech heritage and visited U medveda last night. I am writing this review because I believe the restaurant needs acknowledgement for the amazing food they create. The homemade gnocchi with cheese, chicken and spinach was honestly the best meal I have eaten in the last year! Gnocchi runs the risk of being bland, but this certainly was not. It had a wonderful powerful aroma of garlic and the creamy sauce was full of cheese to help bind the dish. I nursed every mouthful of it:) my family have visited before on recommendation, ans the consensus is that the chef really does put the care and attention to detail into their cooking. The location in the beer garden is also a wonderful spot to rest and socialise and the waitresses were very helpful.
