★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good beer, fairly good service, reasonable prices. Located next to the conference centre, so if you want to get out of a boring conference and go for a beer this will be a good choice! :-)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Authentic local pub, adjust your expectations accordingly. Tank beer is excellent, daily menus fine. Waiters old school not too polite buy that is how it works in such pubs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really good food, even they doesn't know English language and I don't know Czech language! I didn't know what I've ordered, but the food was really imperial!!! Also the place is really interesting in photos in there! Go there and you'll be at home :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent potato dumplings prepared the correct way; not over-baked, just hot enough and melt in your mouth. Good tank beer. Fast and efficient service. Highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Menu is approximately the same as in more tourist area, but prices are two times lower. Huge portions, as it is usual in Czech Republic. Free Wi-Fi, rather available place near Vyšegrad fortress and at 10 min of walk from the metro station. I definitly reccomend this place, if you are visiting Vyšegrad, or just have some free time at centre and don't want to overpay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visired this place for a quick bite and ordered soup around 17.00. Service was quick but not very friendly.
Inside it is nice with quite some space to sit. Room divided so you have some privacy.
At that moment we were there only 1 employee. He brought soup but no bread. After waiting for 10 minutes at the bar, there was no one to ask for bread. Soup was tasty however.
A group of people was send away as kitchen closed (at 17.00) due to understaffing.
Pity because I think this is a nice place. Perhaps a one off.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s ok. The food was decent and reasonably priced, same goes for the beer (pilsner urquell). Probably one of the best lunch spots in the neighborhood.

But then - my burger was something out of fridge (and it looked kinda bought in shop), heated in oven, weird meat without taste, well done of course, and the top bun was burned black (literally). Dip was standard shop Helmans and fries were... mediocre (frozen from shop and heated, of course). All of that for a price of good meal in higher class restaurant than this. (Plus some minor annoyances) Sadly, any fast-food would be better tasting (and cheaper) Far from the worst pubs I've ever visited - but bad nonetheless.
It is well known local pub, but either the standing is not deserved or they went horribly down during covid.
